Container fires and ban limits

Container permits cover chimineas and outdoor fireplaces. Burn only clean, dry wood, between dawn and 1 a.m. Avoid smoke or odours that disturb neighbours.

Separation applies to structures, property lines, wires and other combustible objects. The minimum distances differ sharply by category; do not use the small-container distance for brush burning.

Propane and natural-gas fire pits do not require a burn permit under this page. Dry conditions and high wind can lead to bans; the town notes winds over 30 km/h may trigger restrictions.
