Sales Financial Analyst (Sales Controlling) | Mississauga | 12-Month Contract
Location: Mississauga, ON - Hybrid (onsite Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday)
Duration: 12-month contract
Pay Rate: $40–$45 per hour
About the Opportunity:
Our client in the home appliances manufacturing industry is seeking a Sales Financial Analyst to support sales reporting, forecasting and profitability analysis. Working closely with Sales, Marketing and Accounting, you will evaluate sales and margin performance, monitor trade spend and provide insights to support business decisions.
This opportunity is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills who enjoys working with large datasets, building dashboards and partnering with business teams to improve financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze sales and margin performance across customers, channels and products.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts and Power BI dashboards.
- Monitor promotional spending, customer investments and trade spend against budgets.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing to support business planning and profitability.
- Support month-end close, including journal entries for sales bonuses and trade spend.
- Assist with sales incentive calculations, quota planning and other analytical projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance or Accounting.
- Three to five years’ experience of sales controlling or financial analysis.
- Experience working closely with Sales and Marketing teams.
- SAP knowledge, advanced Excel skills and experience building Power BI dashboards.
- Strong analytical skills and understanding of financial reporting and margin analysis.
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage large datasets and meet deadlines.
