Role Description
We are seeking a qualified, experienced Spanish Language Instructor to join our team part-time.
The ideal candidate is passionate about language education and skilled at delivering engaging, communicative lessons tailored to different ages and proficiency levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver interactive Spanish lessons to children, teens, and/or adults, from beginner to advanced levels.
- Follow the academy's established curriculum while adapting instruction to students' learning needs.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Incorporate educational technology and cultural resources into lessons.
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment and collaborate with the academic team.
Required Qualifications
- Recognized Spanish teaching certification or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of Spanish teaching experience.
- Native Spanish proficiency (C2).
- Advanced English proficiency (minimum C1).
- Knowledge of ACTFL and CEFR proficiency frameworks and communicative language teaching methodologies.
- Proficiency in educational technology and digital learning platforms.
- Strong classroom management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Availability to teach on-site in Oakville, Ontario.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Education, Languages, Linguistics, or a related field.
- Experience teaching different age groups, including children, teens, adults, or professionals.
