Mountsberg Halloween Skelebration: gentle scares still mean a dark trail
Mountsberg’s current event is Halloween Skelebration. It has no planned jump scares, but much of it is outdoors in darkness. Reserve online, bring a light and check the exact date. Ordinary park access is not an event ticket.

Gentle does not mean daylight or level ground
The operator says Skelebration has no planned jump scares. That is useful for a family avoiding a horror event, but darkness and uneven ground still matter. Much of the visit is outside. Bring a light, wear something suited to the temperature and let anyone who dislikes dark paths know what the evening includes before buying tickets.
The page describes stroller-friendly access with uneven sections and lips at buildings. That is more useful than a blanket promise that every wheel will roll easily. Keep the route short enough for the youngest visitor, and decide whether the optional wagon ride adds anything your group wants. It costs another $6.50 per person, is sold at the gift shop first come, first served, and does not pass extra displays unavailable on foot.
Dogs can attend on leash under the event’s limits, but they must stay away from live animals and cannot join the wagon ride. The event is at 2259 Milburough Line in Campbellville. Ordinary park access and a library park pass are not the event booking. The operator’s event calendar lists remaining evenings on October 17-18, 23-25 and 30-31. Those listings describe the programme, not available ticket stock; choose an offered slot in the booking system.

Use the current programme, not an old event name
The September 28 local discussion suggested Mountsberg Halloween among farm visits and hikes. The operator’s old Spooktacular address now describes Skelebration. That changed name matters when finding tickets and checking what your family will actually see.
The remaining event-calendar dates are October 17-18, 23-25 and 30-31, from 4:30 to 10 p.m. Your e-ticket gives the arrival time; do not arrive expecting a walk-in place. Non-member admission is listed at $23 adult and $19 child ages 5-14 or senior; under-fives are free. Wagon rides are a separate $6.50 per person and sold on site, first come first served.

Choose the evening for its activities, not its old name
The September 28, 2026 fall thread suggested Mountsberg Halloween along with farms and other outdoor outings. The October 2024 family-farm thread shows that some people want play and attractions while others want a simpler stop. An evening Halloween booking is a different choice from either a quick pumpkin purchase or a daytime walk.
The July 2024 conservation-area discussion praised Mountsberg for children, animals and easy trails, while liking the booking system’s crowd control. Other visitors disliked having to book. Those are useful expectations, but the present programme is Skelebration, not the former Spooktacular name. Compare the current offer and total: non-member adults $23, children five to fourteen and seniors $19, with under-fives free on the checked page. Add optional rides only if they fit your evening.
