Role Description The Insurance Broker Commission Role is a full-time hybrid position based in Brampton, ON, with flexibility for some work from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include advising clients on insurance coverage options, assessing risk profiles, and recommending suitable products across personal, commercial, and specialty lines. The role involves preparing quotes, processing policy changes, and coordinating renewals while ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements. The broker will maintain ongoing relationships with clients, respond to inquiries, and provide high-quality customer service to support retention and growth. Additional duties may include collaborating with carriers, participating in training, and contributing to brokerage marketing and business development initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Insurance Brokerage and Insurance, with the ability to advise clients on appropriate coverage solutions.
- Solid understanding of Finance and Retirement Planning to support clients in long-term risk and wealth protection strategies.
- Demonstrated Customer Service skills, with a commitment to responsive, professional, and clear client communication.
- Relevant licensing or certification to practice as an insurance broker in Ontario (e.g., RIBO or equivalent).
- Experience working in a brokerage or financial services environment is an asset.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting, managing time and priorities both in-office and remotely.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills, with attention to detail and regulatory compliance.
